ON HOLD - Set of four Eames designed and Herman Miller manufactured ‘DSX’ dining chairs, consisting of a fibreglass and steel frame. The ‘DSX’ design was released in the 1950s, this set are an early model, logo label and patent details can be found on the underside of the chairs. The ‘DSX’ chair offers great comfort, and support. It is one of the most iconic chairs of the 20th century.
Charles and Ray Eames were one of the pivotal forces in modern design during the post war era. With a grand sense of adventure, they channeled their curiosity and boundless enthusiasm into creations that quickly established them as one of the truly great American husband-and-wife design teams. Their work is now highly coveted and held in leading museums throughout the world.
Structurally sound, and in good visual condition
Steel legs show some signs of age, as pictured.
